The Alexandria Businessmen's Association on Monday received Jeffrey Donaldson, the British trade representative and member of the House of Commons, as head of a trade delegation on a private visit to Alexandria to promote cooperation and trade relations and attract foreign investment to Alexandria.

During the meeting, they discussed means of developing trade exchange between the two countries, encouraging joint investments, discussing ways of joint cooperation, boosting relations between the two countries and identifying the opportunities available to the Egyptian business community and British counterpart.

Marwan Al Sammak, Chairman of the Alexandria Businessmen Association, said that the association seeks continuous communication with representatives of the business community and officials in all countries to enhance cooperation in order to boost the economy and enhance trade relations.

This is the third meeting with the commercial envoy to complete cooperation with the British side in the development and upgrading of the vocational training and employment center of the association.

The meeting was attended by HE Hisham Abou El Ela, Secretary General of the Association, Mohamed Hano, Board Member, Dr. Mohamed Moharram, Vice Chairman, Dr. Abdel Moneim Hafez, Board Member, and Dr. Amjad Al Attal, Assistant Secretary General of the Association.
